Tackling the Complexity of Financed Emissions Data

Share:
Article Overview

Financial institutions are facing increasing expectations to measure and disclose financed emissions with accuracy and transparency. But the process is inherently complex: multiple asset classes, varying data quality requirements, and evolving regulatory frameworks make it difficult to manage financed emissions at scale. At the same time, stakeholders are demanding more clarity and consistency in how institutions report and act on their financed emissions.

To meet this challenge, we’re thrilled to introduce our Investments Positions Manager, a significant step forward in simplifying data ingestion, improving transparency, and enabling deeper insights for financial institutions worldwide.

A Unified Approach to Uploads

At the heart of this release is a single, unified upload template that supports business loans, corporate bonds, equity, and project finance across all data quality scores. By consolidating nearly 40 templates into one, the revamped module reduces friction in data ingestion and incorporates a refined error resolution process to make uploads more efficient.

The platform also removes the need to pre-determine the right data quality score. Instead, it automatically applies the best and lowest applicable score based on the data provided, ensuring both accuracy and consistency.

Data Enrichment for Accuracy and Completeness

Where possible, 麻豆原创 enriches listed instruments with financial and emissions data using our best available data model logic. This enhancement improves data completeness and reliability, giving financial institutions a stronger foundation for analysis and reporting.

Greater Transparency with Revamped Catalogs

We’ve also expanded the structure of the Financial Services data model through revamped catalogs for Entities, Investments, and Real Assets. These provide a clearer, more organized view of portfolios, strengthening reporting accuracy and streamlining the management of financed emissions data at every level.

Analytics That Drive Action

Our investment analytics suite has been rebuilt to deliver more actionable insights. Customers can track high-level KPIs across investments, financing, and real assets, while also drilling into granular company, sector, and industry views. Comparative dashboards enable year-over-year and fund-level analysis, making it easier to spot trends, benchmark performance, and guide strategy.

Built with Customers in Mind

Our Investments Positions Manager was shaped by feedback from financial institutions seeking greater efficiency, transparency, and insight. With these updates, we are equipping our customers to reduce complexity, strengthen disclosures, and make more informed investment decisions, all within a single streamlined workflow.

This module is available now in 麻豆原创 Advanced. Contact our team for a more in-depth walkthrough of this platform functionality.
